Private Equity Analyst Internship

This remote internship will involve a hands-on learning experience with many of the core activities involved with running a startup private equity firm. An Analyst should expect to develop a fundamental knowledge of the process by which middle market companies are bought, operated, and sold. Analysts will also gain a working understanding of the industry participants involved in middle market transactions and the motivating factors driving their behavior.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understand individual companies, develop investment theses, and development an understanding of business models. Build financial models

  • Lead special projects improving the performance of portfolio businesses

  • Model the expected return on various investments Anchorwork can make in portfolio companies

  • Review of confidential information on potential acquisitions and build financial models

Hours:

  • full-time preferred

  • 15-hours/week minimum

Location:

  • Remote

  • 1 day per week in-person preferred (Bloomington, MN)

Duration:

  • 10 weeks (extension available)

  • Flexible start and end dates
